Tia Myers-Rocker

I'm a Akron-based freelance writer, Youtuber, videographer, multimedia journalist, and social media specialist. A journalist since 2016, I have worked independently for ZTV, WZIP, WKSU, TV2, Burr Magazine, BABE Magazine, and Cleveland Magazine.

Currently, I'm a second-year master's student at Kent State University majoring in Global Communication with a concentration in media. My areas of interest are media advocacy, social justice, African-American activism, social and political affairs, public health, media framing, and media uses and effects.
